Word of mouth

A treat the whole team looks forward to

“The staff loved them and it was a great treat for everyone — they all looked forward to it every week. The Pop Up Pizza Co make sure they are prepared and ready for the time you'd like your pizzas to start, and their set-up is safe and presentable. We would definitely use The Pop Up Pizza Co again and we'll be staying in contact with Jacob should we be able to use him again at one of our projects. We HIGHLY recommend using The Pop Up Pizza Co, whether for work staff or a private party — you won't be disappointed.”

How a Christmas lunch at work runs

You pick the day and the lunch window. We do the rest: the van, the oven, the gazebo, the menu, the plates and the clearing up. The only thing you have to organise is who is coming.

  • We arrive about an hour before, set up in your car park or grounds, and cook under our own gazebo whatever the weather
  • Everyone comes up and orders their own pizza, made fresh to order
  • Gluten-free alternative bases with notice (contains mustard), and vegan cheese on request, so nobody is left out
  • Plates, napkins and takeaway boxes for leftovers all supplied, and we leave the space as we found it
  • Named-box pre-orders if you would rather nobody queues: orders in beforehand, boxes out on the day
  • From £12 per head plus VAT, minimum booking £400 plus VAT, invoiced to your company with a PO number on request

Lunch, party or the whole site

Six ways to do Christmas at work

The Christmas lunch at work

The easiest party you will organise. Pick a weekday in December, we turn up at lunchtime, and the whole team is fed without anyone leaving the building or booking a venue.

The Christmas party itself

An evening do in your own grounds, a barn or a venue without a kitchen. Hot, fresh food straight from the flames while the drinks flow, with nothing for you to clear up.

The whole-site Christmas feed

Several hundred people across one day or a shift pattern. We bring the second setup, run two ovens side by side, and spread the service around how your day actually runs.

The night shift's Christmas

The evening and night crews usually miss the party. An early-evening service at the shift change means they get the same treat as everyone else.

December team treats

A Christmas jumper day lunch, a year-end thank you, a client drop-in or a rehearsal for the big one. Any December get-together works.

Not December?

January is quieter and cheaper for a venue, and a new-year lunch lands with a team that has been back at their desks for a week. We are open all winter.

“All 35 orders were arranged beforehand, and each one was spot on — everyone got exactly what they wanted and thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas. Would definitely recommend for any upcoming events!”

From one team to the whole company

How many are you feeding?

Up to 50

The office Christmas lunch sweet spot. Everyone is fed well within the hour, and named boxes make it effortless.

50 to 120

We bring the full team. We can serve up to 100 pizzas an hour, every one made fresh to order.

120 to 500

Volume is no issue. We cater for events of several hundred, and a second setup means two ovens running side by side.

We cover offices, business parks and sites across Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Cirencester and the rest of Gloucestershire, and further afield within our 50-mile radius.

For your finance and facilities teams

The boring bits, sorted

  • 5-star food hygiene rating, the highest given

  • Full public liability insurance, risk assessments on request

  • Invoices to your company, PO numbers quoted on request

  • The Pop Up Pizza Co Ltd, registered in England, company no. 15920343

  • Fully self-contained setup: no water, and no mains power for the oven

  • Dietary requirements handled with notice, allergens taken seriously

Christmas catering questions

Asked by every office in December

How much does office Christmas party catering cost?

Christmas lunches and parties at your workplace start from £12 per head plus VAT, with a minimum booking of £400 plus VAT. The final quote depends on your numbers, the day, the timings and how far we travel. Send us the details and we will come back with a firm price, usually within a few hours.

When should we book a December date?

As early as you can. We take one lunchtime booking a day and December weekdays go on a first come, first served basis, so once a day is taken it is taken. For a set-piece date we advise booking at least six weeks ahead, which means October for a mid-December lunch.

Can you really cook outside in December?

Yes. We cook under our own gazebo, rain or shine, and your team collects their pizzas and eats them inside in the warm. All we need is a flat space of at least 3m by 4m (4m by 4m is handy) for the gazebo, plus room for the van.

Can our team pre-order their pizzas?

Yes, and for an office lunch we recommend it. Send us everyone's order in advance and each pizza comes off the oven boxed and named, ready to hand out the moment the lunch window opens. At a recent quiz night all 35 pre-arranged orders landed exactly as requested.

Can you feed a few hundred people in one go?

Yes. We can serve up to 100 pizzas an hour with the full team. For several hundred people we bring a second setup and run two ovens side by side, or spread the service across a shift pattern.

Can you cater for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free colleagues?

Yes. With notice, every pizza on the menu can be made on a gluten-free alternative base (contains mustard) or with vegan cheese. We don't use halal-certified meat, so the vegetarian pizzas are the halal-friendly choice, and everything goes in the same oven. Tell us about allergies when you book and we will make sure everyone is catered for.

Can you invoice our company and quote a PO number?

Yes. Every corporate booking gets a full VAT invoice made out to your company, and if your finance team runs on purchase orders we add the PO number to the quote and the invoice. A 25% non-refundable deposit secures the date.
