Frequently asked questions

Pizza catering questions, answered

How much does pizza catering cost? How many pizzas do you need for a wedding? Everything couples, planners and party hosts across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds ask us, answered honestly, in one place.

How much does pizza catering cost per person?

Our pizza catering starts from £12 per head, and can be more depending on your event — guest numbers, distance, date and service length all shape the final figure. We recommend approximately one pizza per person, though for larger events we often suggest slightly fewer as not everyone eats, some share, and some have more than one. Contact us with your event details for an accurate quote.

How many pizzas do I need for my event?

As a general rule, we recommend one pizza per person. However, from experience, we usually suggest booking slightly fewer pizzas than your total guest count. For example, for 170 guests we'd recommend 150 pizzas, as there are always a few who don't eat, some who share, and some who have two. We'll advise you on the right number when you get in touch.

Can you cater for dietary requirements like vegan and gluten-free?

Yes, we cater for a range of dietary requirements. We offer vegan cheese as an option on our vegetarian pizzas, and we can provide gluten-free alternatives if needed (contains mustard). Just let us know your requirements when booking and we'll make sure everyone is catered for.

How does mobile pizza catering work on the day?

We arrive and set up our wood-fired oven, which takes around an hour. Once we're ready, your guests can come and order from our menu whenever they're hungry. Each pizza is made fresh to order in 90 seconds at 500°C. We handle everything food-related, including plates, napkins, sauces, and rubbish disposal.

What areas do you cover for pizza catering?

We cover a 50-mile radius across South West England and the Cotswolds, including Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Cirencester, Tewkesbury, Bristol, Bath, Oxford, Swindon, Bourton-on-the-Water, Wiltshire, Herefordshire, and Worcestershire. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, get in touch and we'll let you know.

How far in advance should I book pizza catering?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekend dates during the busy summer season. Popular dates can book up months in advance. To secure your date, we ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit.

What is the DIY pizza experience?

Our DIY Pizza Experience is a fun, interactive option where we provide our wood-fired ovens, paddles and pre-rolled, part-baked pizza bases. Your guests make their own pizzas with toppings of their choice and cook them in the oven themselves. It's perfect for parties, team-building events, and celebrations of up to 30 guests.

What happens if it rains?

Our setup is weather resilient and we can operate in most conditions. We'll work with you to ensure your event goes smoothly regardless of the weather — we're a British business, rain doesn't scare us.

Do you provide everything for the catering?

Yes — we worry about everything food-related. This includes all food preparation, cooking, service materials such as plates, napkins, and sauces, as well as rubbish disposal and cleanup. You just provide the space.

How many people can you cater for?

We can cater for events from small private parties of 20 guests right up to large weddings and events of 500 or more. Whether it's an intimate gathering or a large-scale celebration, we'll tailor our service to suit your needs.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes, we are fully insured with comprehensive public liability insurance. We also hold a 5-star food hygiene rating and all required certifications. Risk assessments are available on request for venue requirements.

Can you set up anywhere?

Our mobile setup is highly flexible — gardens, courtyards, marquees, car parks, fields and venue grounds are all fine. We don't need mains electricity for the oven itself. If you're unsure about access or space, send us a photo and we'll confirm.
