A pizza van foryour birthday party

The short answer: yes, a pizza van will come to your garden, and it solves the two problems every party host knows. Nobody's stuck in the kitchen, and everybody gets fed something they actually want. Pricing starts from £12 per head, smaller gatherings start from £300, and we cater everything from a 20-guest garden do to a milestone birthday with the whole extended family. Here's how it works.

How a party booking runs

We arrive around an hour before serving and set up in your garden, driveway or venue grounds. The set-up is self-sufficient, no power or water needed, and garden friendly. Once the oven's up to temperature, guests come to the counter whenever they're hungry and order from the menu, and every pizza lands fresh in 90 seconds from a 500°C wood-fired oven. It's dinner and entertainment in one: guests gravitate to the flames, and the cooking becomes part of the party.

Afterwards we handle the clean-up, take the rubbish with us, and any leftovers go into takeaway boxes. Our private party service page has the full package.

What a birthday party costs

Pricing starts from £12 per head and is really built per pizza: a gathering of under 30 guests starts from £300, and the per-pizza rate gets keener as numbers climb. As a rule of thumb we suggest roughly one pizza per person, adjusted down for bigger crowds. The full table is on the pricing page, and our guide to how many pizzas you need stops you over-ordering.

Kids' parties and milestone birthdays

Pizza is the rare food that works for a 7th birthday and a 70th. For kids' parties, watching pizzas blister in the flames is half the show, margheritas and pepperonis keep fussy eaters happy, and the Nutella dessert pizza finishes the job. For milestone birthdays the counter becomes the social hub: guests drift over in twos and threes all evening instead of queueing for a buffet that's been sitting out.

Dietary requirements are handled properly at both ends of the age range: vegetarian options are on the menu, vegan cheese is available on request, and gluten free alternatives can be provided when you book ahead.

Jacob did a fantastic job in cooking the most delicious pizzas for my husband's 50th. He was great fun as well as cooking the most delicious pizzas!

Smaller party? Get hands-on instead

For gatherings of up to 30 guests that want an activity as much as a caterer, our DIY Pizza Experience turns the making into the party: we provide the wood-fired oven, paddles and pre-rolled, part-baked bases, you arrange the toppings, and your guests build and fire their own pizzas. It's the budget-friendly route, and for birthdays it doubles as the entertainment.

Party questions, answered

How many people can you cater for?

We can cater for events from small private parties of 20 guests right up to large weddings and events of 500 or more. Whether it's an intimate gathering or a large-scale celebration, we'll tailor our service to suit your needs.

What is the DIY pizza experience?

Our DIY Pizza Experience is a fun, interactive option where we provide our wood-fired ovens, paddles and pre-rolled, part-baked pizza bases. Your guests make their own pizzas with toppings of their choice and cook them in the oven themselves. It's perfect for parties, team-building events, and celebrations of up to 30 guests.

Do you provide everything for the catering?

Yes — we worry about everything food-related. This includes all food preparation, cooking, service materials such as plates, napkins, and sauces, as well as rubbish disposal and cleanup. You just provide the space.
